Wonder if the Daniel Howard offer is signal about Liggins.

free article, with major, major props for Illinois:
That's honestly a wild stat: Bielema at Illinois produced more Floridian NFL draft picks over the past 4 years than FSU! Bobby Bowden is spinning in his grave as we speak. The development from Bret and the staff cannot be understated. Only Miami and Florida have had more. And that's a hell of a sales pitch to those kids as well: "Since I've been the coach at Illinois, I've put at least one Florida kid in the League each year. You want to join the Familly?"

2029 ? is he an 8th grader ?

i’m biased , but it’s hard to imagine a a$$ kicker coming out of a Day school .

The staff did everything they could but seems like Trae was determined to go elsewhere.
But Nebraska? Ugh, we’ve definitely passed them in the pecking order. Plus, I heard the kid’s dad was from Decatur originally….he had the Illini exposure. Have to think Huskers threw him a huge bag

high school kids are being paid to transfer to and from high schools. maybe not in illinois, but as close as missouri.

I’m not aware of that going on. The qb from st Francis transferred to St Thomas Aquinas in Florida. He’s not the level of recruit that would command money but it shows how people are willing to move for more exposure.
