The thing that blows my mind is that Miami annually hasn't been able to deliver on their NIL promises and yet it somehow doesn't seem to make either them or the following year's recruits any less gun shy. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it? They might as well just offer every high end recruit and transfer 5mil in monopoly money at this point as it doesn't matter.

Do we know this? They aren't losing stars once they are on the roster.

I don't do Facebook, X, or similar social media, so I appreciate Joel Goodson and others for sharing.

friends don't let friends do Zuckerberg (you're the product!)

X is a cesspool (thanks, Elmo!), but it's where a ton on sports news gets posted. until there's a mass migration, I'm dealing with it

have pretty high hopes for Bluesky.

So those saying to not worry about Bama might have been premature. Going to be a fight to keep a lot of these guys (which is part of the deal of recruiting better starting talent).
Don't listen to anybody who tells you not to worry about committed players, ESPECIALLY in football. The commitment means absolutely nothing. Nobody stops recruiting these guys, us included. Heck, Nebraska just took a commitment from a 15 year old. The whole landscape is ridiculous.

Personally, I think it’s great that Alabama is trying to poach one of our commits. I’d hate to lose him or any others, but this is a far cry from the days when we were competing for recruits with Ball State, Western Michigan and the Devry Institute of Technology.

100000% look at our recruiting battles. We are recruiting against the big boys now. When you shop at the top shelf that will happen
