Regardless of possibilities, it makes sense. PSU needs to find a way to make sense out of the Franklin firing. For Daboer, his teams are not Saban's... so innately whenever you lose a game you're job is never safe.Is that even remotely a possibility?
Should be some good news coming in the next few days
Good Werner & Leman episode talking about next year...Feels like Matthew Bailey, Tomiwa & Juice Clarke are guys who should be getting fat checks to stick around as starters next year on D. Other than those guys, you feel fine about Angelo McCullom & Malachi Hood...but nobody else really feels like a "gotta have him back" type of player on that side of the ball. Bret's got work to do.
Good thing we have money to spend. And, replacing an all-timer at QB, an entire OL, etc......yeah, it'll be interesting

I don't feel that good about our LB corp. I root for all of our players of course, but I'm sorry, I think our LBs have been disappointing.Good Werner & Leman episode talking about next year...Feels like Matthew Bailey, Tomiwa & Juice Clarke are guys who should be getting fat checks to stick around as starters next year on D. I'm in favor of some changes there for next year. I view it as a position of significant upgrade needed.
Correct. We have not had a very talented front 7 the past two yearsI don't feel that good about our LB corp. I root for all of our players of course, but I'm sorry, I think our LBs have been disappointing.

True. We haven't had a truly dominant LB in a while, and since the Law Firm the same can be said for the D linemen. Jacas has been good but not overwhelming like Johnny Newton was. When is the last time we had an LB who was close to leading the conference in tackles? Brit Miller?Correct. We have not had a very talented front 7 the past two years
We are going to need it.....
I am no savant...but for true freshman to come in and compete and start, wouldn't it be most likely in the "skill" positions, where size isn't AS essential? Are we looking at running backs, wide receivers and secondary?
