I’d actually prefer that the CBA be settled, then play the contract, just like the pros. No transfers, even if the coach gets fired or leaves for greener pastures. The NFL is successful managing the process, no reason the new professional league can’t do it, and this is now a professional league, albeit with few or no rules yet.

Wouldn’t he be more of a Hank Beatty replacement?
That'd be too much, especially with the receivers we have returning. Hank had 70 catches for 864 yards. Diaz had 811 yards in the Southland Conf.

Very possibly he can be that guy down the road, but for next year, I'd expect around 400-500 (which would be awesome) as opposed to 800.

Dixon and Clement will undoubtedly be the alphas.

I meant the position Hank played, but I would take all the production too.

He can't possibly be getting more than $300k as a kicker, right?
For perspective, TAMU kickers were only 61% on the season, 16 for 26 overall whereas Olano was 87%, 20 for 23. That would be an incredible upgrade for them. And they also have a coach with a willingness to kick 50 yarders. If you have the money, getting that big of an upgrade at a position of need for a team that is a title contender has additional value.

Did he just say the quiet part out loud? The SEC can no longer dominate because everyone can pay players, and payments are now above board.
I don’t think it’s the quiet part anymore. Ed Orgeron was asked what’s the difference between coaching pre NIL and post NIL. He said pre NIL I carried the money to the back door. Post NIL I carry the money to the front door. 😂

And scored the 3 points that put us over the top against Tennessee.
I mean not to say he wasn't a accurate kicker here.the kick your referring to was only a 22-23 yard kick if i remember correctly its not like it was a 50+ yard kick or further.it sucks hes leaving but I trust in Bert
