Washington?
Maybe but that was a shootout at halftime like the USC game. Offense turned it over and only scored 8 points in the second half. Some stops on defense would have helped but offense had a poor second half. It would be great to have a defense that can win some games against good teams but that was not the case with either of the Orange and Blue in the state of Illinois this season.

Replacing players that were on a sub average defense is not bad. We need faster more athletic players and BB is brining them in. Remember, we red shirted several defensive players last year and these kids are good. McCollum is a rotation piece but we have better.

Coach B seems to be playing hard ball with current players. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. He seems pretty excited based on some interviews. I got faith in him. Just take a few deep breaths and enjoy the ride !

3-4000 portal players! We will re-load. Quit trippin loyalty. Not seeing any MAJOR pieces leaving. Anyone that seems to have guaranteed PT is staying put. That means coach B told these boys we are bringing in talent and you will have to EARN that spot! Some of these guys just want the starting spot handed to them because they "put in the time". Let's go check the portal. Its not like our guys leaving are at the top of the portal list.

Hood and Jojo good players, especially if they are 2's in depth chart. I think we are changing our scheme. Goodness I hope so! Playing prevent with opponents in the Redzone, is freaking high school crap.

Seriously people, after the Baily news and X "news".....outside of Jacas, there's literally nothing else about our defense that couldn't be EASILY replaced.

We were told changes were coming, and when it comes to our defense......color me ready af for all the changes.
I second this but will add Juice to this list. I sense he is going to look even better if we can muster a pass rush.

The threat of legal action and having the hassle of defending yourself is often quiet a deterrent.
Once it becomes settled law that will go down. I haven't seen someone make a compelling legal argument that the punitive damages will stand. Not sure if the house settlement changes that.

The school they're going to is paying them big $ and it's highly likely they would help support in the event of a suit.
