Maybe we can get him the next go around? Maybe Sutter too? One can wish. I just don’t get it. Is it because we don’t throw to the TEs enough? We seem to attract good WRs, even in the portal but not as good of luck in high school.

Could be a money decision. Missouri has big time money. Probably 50-70% more than we do.
Lol. Let Missouri spend their money and they are still a middle of the pack SEC team. Missouri has been paying big money for years and nothing to show for it. Some of their recently highly regarded recruits and players have played 1 year and transferred to other schools.
Does anyone have an idea where Wagner from St. Joe- Ogden might go, if not Illinois?
Why is the reason a kid might pick Missouri over Illinois funny? And why are you making fun of a school for being a middle of the pack SEC school when we are a middle of the pack BT school?
They can take the hometown kid but they can't flip Lopati... I'll take that deal...

You make fun of Missouri because all of this money they are spending is wasteful spending. Illinois will continue to beat SEC schools like South Carolina and Tennesse. If you are spending millions especially on high school kids and you remain in the middle of the pack in the SEC then the fans and boosters will be upset. Missouri has been a middle of the pack SEC team. The state of Missouri has had a whole lot of highly regarded high school players and a whole lot were BUSTERS IN COLLEGE!!
you better have huge money if you're gonna pay your freshmen to sit for a year or two.
There’s no guarantee that they’re going to hang around either.
