The level of detail, effort and execution Coach B and his staff (especially Coaches Stepp, Lunney & Cole on this one) put into recruiting is very impressive. From the unofficial visit on (when Bennett wasn't even rated yet), the Konkeys felt great about Illinois. This staff really lives into FamILLy. Also, Stepp is a killer!

Confirming what we already knew, our program is in great shape under this staff. In Bret I trust! I L L

Big pickup for the Illini. 4.3 speed and 10.25 100 speed is nothing to scoff at and elite speed. Moreover, he plays like that as well. The WR core is moving towards top of the B1G/nation type of good. Will be very exciting to watch in the future.

Didn't know if they would get Alexis this soon. Big time RB. Offense is going to be explosive for the foreseeable future. Alexis, Barnett, Forster, Wyche, Wheeler, etc. at RB is big time. Still wish they could add MJC.

it’s kind of mind blowing how we seemingly recruit better in Fla than in IL

I know part of it is Fla simply has way more legit D1 athletes, but there is still some kind of reluctance by many local lads to play in state
