Jim Hart , SIU QB..........Larry Wilson was my favorite player......played a game with both wrists broken ......tough SOB..........Roy Green was greased lightening , big plays was his skillset.....I always thought Neil Lomax was really good but underappreciated by the STL fans................Terry Metcalf , O.J. Jim Hart - Niles West. Larry Wilson, fantastic football player. Mel Gray, Jim Otis (even if he did go to OSU), Roger Wehrli, Don Coryell. That was some team.I was no Cards fan, but had utmost respect for Conrad Dobler - tough hombre
He was proclaimed "Pro Football's Dirtiest Player" with a 1977 cover story in Sports Illustrated magazine and was the author of a 1988 memoir, They Call Me Dirty.
He did some acting too. I remember he was in an episode of “In the Heat of the Night.”

That’s how you knowI ran into Dierdorf at the DC airport 20 years ago and you would never know he was one of the best linemen in NFL history. Hunched over and walking with a cane. Very sad...
