I’m confused

a guy gives millions to the Commerce College and then gives the Athletic Dept $100 million and people are saying it wasn’t enough or it was for the wrong things ???

Didn’t say anything about it not being enough, but it was definitely spent on the wrong things if the idea is to win.

Then when you donate $100mil, you can specify that’s what yours is for.

I ask you, if you were an athletic director, and someone was passionate about the stadium and was mulling a large gift over, would you have the brass to start suggesting what you think it should be used for instead?

Just for clarification… he didn’t “give” $100 million. He received something in return. He made a transaction. A hefty one, to be sure. But it was most certainly not a gift.
