Hmm. It's all very interesting.

I agree with whoever said that there seems to be a pot of money left for one more big score, and an AHC/RC recruiting-focused type seems like the obvious spot.

I do believe Nate's only opportunity will be in a admin recruiting role, not on the official coaching staff where Cubit elevated him the day after TB was fired. Imo, that is really where he belongs with his experience level.

they may be saving some of that pool money for more admin people and S&C.
No sense in spending it if you don't have to or cant. This isn't the federal govt where you lose it if you don't use it.

Can someone photo shop McGee like Luke "The Revenant" Butkus was yesterday? One of you clever guys needs to make this a trend.

Very happy to have Mcgee. hoping for one more top flight staff member. Maybe a young top notch recruiter that is looking to work under another big name coach for his resume. I don't know anything, but that is my hope. I am ready to hear names. But once the staff is announced. things will be dead for a while. So I guess I need to be patient.

Transition immediately into Spring Ball from there. :thumb:

He's been second fiddle before, so my guess is he rather stay put.

After two 1 win seasons, Idaho won 4 games last year. Probably easier to land a better HC gig if he continues to show improvement at Idaho than he would as the OC in name only at Louisville.

He better hurry. Idaho will be an FCS program soon.

Per my sources Nate will be retained to handle administration and recruiting. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

That's a good move. From all reports he's a popular high quality person with a high ceiling in the sports administration and coaching world and we need to keep him connected to the program.

Does anyone have a idea who the TE,LB or Special Teams coaches they may be looking into hiring? We need to capitalize on our special teams!

I don't think there have even been any names throw around really, except Nickerson running the D and coaching the LB's maybe. You'd think that the staff would need to be set within the next week. They'll need some time to get the playbook together and familiarize themselves with whatever schemes were are going to run before Spring practice, right?
