GT had one dude who was unconscious. He won’t do that again. I bet MS state falls behind us and we finish 9/10th. Which isn’t too bad for the first day. We just got to limit the doubles.

I swear this team is incapable of being hot in round one. Unlike most tournaments they've played this year, though, there are six top-10 teams they are currently looking up at. I get the sentiment that morning conditions will be better tomorrow, but all the teams with us also get morning conditions and played better than us this afternoon.

GT, Florida, FSU, Pepperdine, Arkansas, and Georgia all got the early starts today and will have late starts tomorrow I believe? Vanderbilt, UNC, and TTU are the only 3 teams to get early starts tomorrow and they were all marginally better. Also if we finish with those 3 teams I bet we make too 8. They’re all very elite.

Not in awful shape, the ultimate cut to match play is top 8 we are 1 off that and cut to the 4th round is top 16 we are 4 strokes clear of that.

Really tough final 5 holes, the 4 counters played that in +4 and Besard had worked his round back to +1 and went +5 to not count on the day. A lot of crooked numbers on the board today and 6 dreaded doubles. In contrast the leaders Ga Tech had exactly zero doubles. That needs to be cleaned up. Players of htis calibre fretting too much over the odd bad hole can be counter productive but if you want to be the best of the best you have to keep them off the card. Usually its your scrambling that keeps the doubles away. we had the most of anybody in the top 20.

But, I have faith in the depth of this squad to show and expect a low one today.

Top 15 is the cut for the final round. We had lots of doubles but we did avoid the triples and worse. I have faith too

Pairings for today. Illinois open soooo early. Hope they take advantage today they need too. This is the day that wake forest and Stanford on the girls side tore up the course and put themselves in the top 8 for good last week.

3 guys on the course now and basically all even for the day early in the round.
