That was the social unrest and our football team shooting us in the foot with the protests.

So you are saying you are now socially rested and things will look up. :thumb:

For the most part yeah. The bball team being so popular next year will help with enrollment

At least the Braggin Rights becomes relevant again. Back to ESPN if our mutual dislike keeps growing.

Lol you don't think Mizzou has Momentum? New coach, #1 recruit in the country, Tilmon is coming to Mizzou, and Knox is looking likely (yeah I said it haha), and add Blake harris to the likely. That is momentum whether you want to admit it or not.

Which adds up to.... 2 years of probation?

The sad part is this guy won't be around when Cuonzo coaches this team to like a 6-seed.

There is enough talent in STL to keep it going. Martin will do well at Missouri

I don't care if you have the dream team playing for you, as long as Cuonzo has to coach them too we will be just fine!

Martin is nothing but a flash in pan hire. He has consistently recruited well and had poor results on the floor. I would argue that he hasn't out performed any of his predecessors at a single stop he's been at. Also, after leaving each program after a 3 year stay(consistency), each one has tanked due to the mess he has left behind. Yes, he can recruit, but he has shown very little coaching ability or ability to manage a program long term.

I'm pretty happy he ended up at Mizzou and not in Champaign.

Yet I fully expect him to catch lightning in a bottle for a year which will cause idiocy on this board. Long term, he's a bad answer.

I, for one, eagerly await the one year worth of people yelling "We should have hired Cuonzo" followed by 5 years of "Thank goodness we passed on Martin and hired Underwood instead!"

At least, that is how I am expecting this to play out, anyway.

I've been out and about today and only scanning this board tonight and when I first saw this I thought -- Dang, we hired Chris Martin? Great!!
But just more about Cuonzo . Carry on.
