Lol ok fine go to KU Tilmon. The outrage from Miznoz will be sooooooo priceless!

In fact is there any way we could help Jerrence? This is going to be just too good.

Cuonzo might be about to learn the lesson that if you roll around in the mud you better be the biggest pig in the pen.

You can tell when a message board is unfamiliar with the game. When they're trashing a school with an s in its name and don't use a dollar sign.

He will commit tomorrow. Illinois had paid his Mom a lot of money, so it was complicated. His Dad will apparently sign his Mizzou LOI.

I hope you haven't told the NCAA about this.

It would be pretty poetic if Missouri "dream class" falls apart. I mean they were planning the following:

Porter
Harris
Smith (looks Like MSU,Illini,Kentucky)
Knox (probably UNC\Duke)
Tilmon (possibly Kansas)

Things are starting to unravel for them.

If Cuonzo can't take Porter and turn this class into the next Fab Five, he's going to struggle at Mizzou. Perennial bubble team, per usual.

I don't know if Missouri was ever 'raveled' to start to be unraveling. They hired Cuonzo only a few weeks ago. Everything has been speculation to this point, other than the confirmation of Porter, who is still a pretty big prize.

True. They paid a big price (his dad) to get that prize. Then they all speculated that everyone would come running at it would be an unbelievable class and an instant turnaround. Now that still might happen, but it is looking less likely by the day.

Agreed. I think their fan base was very "raveled." Prolifically raveled, even. It was entirely based on one recruit and rampant speculation about many, many others. They'll have to learn that, generally, one recruit does not a powerhouse make.

Give them a break, it has been awhile since they have had any talent commit. Truth be told, we have made the same mega class mistake on this board many times.

I would not go overboard. Porter Jr. is the No. 1 player and Harris is very good. They will still recruit and may still add some good players. They are not out of Tilmon.

Our class ranking, that people thought was very good, largely depended on Tilmon who is nowhere near the level of Porter Jr.

There was a guy on this board saying this class would turnaround university enrollment.

If you're gonna really commit to Mizzou-loathing (and you should), then you ride for KU all day. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Yessir count me on the all in Mizzou-loathing bus... truth is been riding it since Norm Stupanovich and Sunvold when I was 12.

I think on our boards most people know that those things will not actually happen. Maybe it's through experience or something, but either way.

Can someone who has been keeping up with the schollie situation at MSU tell us how rumors of Bridges returning might affect Smith?

The blue bloods have developed very close relationships with these programs. They do not play tough, they cozy up to them and get players, despite being blue bloods. It has been more than 14 years since we've had a true close relationship with these coaches, including having our head coach personally involved. The last HC at Illinois who really got very close and personal with these coaches and programs was Self. He did not achieve that by playing tough to get, on the contrary.
Very well said. This was a great hire, let's get to it.
