I thought Trent had an offer from Florida?

We were worried he'd get an offer from Florida because that seemed to be the one FL school he originally wanted one from - he'd gone to a lot of their camps. But they never did. Besides us, the only other visit he made was to Georgia.

I never know who is up to date on that stuff. Scout has offers from Florida and Baylor too for Trent

Right? As far as I can tell, his only useful role on the staff was tweeting ILL and giving us fans a lifeline that way. I think I'll gladly trade that for (hopefully) better recruiting.

Maybe they did come in late, but after Trent met la marie, it was all over. :)

TF seems so supremely confident in his own abilities. Combine that with his apparent love for the ILLINI and an obvious will to win and it's hard not seeing him being a real fan favorite here.

As far as MS and that "coming home" highlight reel.... Jesus Christ that kid looks like a man out there. I know it's a highlight video but still, it was an amazing one.

After years in the desert we are maybe going to have some really talented depth at the guard positions and I, for one, am ready. I love watching guard heavy teams like Villanova, the style is flashy and electric!

We are definitely hurting on bigs though, you would think MS and the influx of talent would be attractive to them though.

Yeah not sure how accurate the websites are on scholarship offers but... all I am seeing is Florida Atlantic and North Florida for the Florida schools.

UCF and Florida say no offer and FSU and Miami aren't listed.

Rivals also list some very nice offers otherwise.

Florida had early interest but they got an early commit from Shai Alexander. Alexander then decommitted and pledged to Kentucky (smiths roomie at the all star game last weekend). Frazier had already verbally committed to us when they lost Alexander. UF was bummed.

No knowledge of why other Florida schools were not involved.
