As for Feliz's lack of other offers, I'm wondering how much it has to do with other teams simply not wanting to waste their time on recruiting a kid who once committed to OA when OA is again recruiting him and he's reciprocated interest? Similar to the bluebloods not really getting involved with Ayo since I'm sure they knew the strong connections we already had there and he was almost a given to sign with us. I fully expect that if Feliz's visit goes well he's ours.

Also, could be that a lot of programs just, as a rule, aren't interested in JUCO players, so they don't even bother.

Am not bashing the kid at all. But given that refresher & the bits of video I have seen of BH. Would far prefer Hinson.

Why? Seemed similar to me. Reminded of THT, both better offensively than Trice but can't tell anything about defense or rebounding from clips but maybe you can.

We will never be a team that plays more than 10 players and likely rotations are typically 9. So 3-4 players will be long-term projects or practice players. I have no issue giving Matic further time to develop. He was our tallest player last season and towards the end of the season I saw improvement. Still think the lights were too bright and the game was too fast for him last season. But I think he will either contribute at practice or in games next season. You will never have 13 players who are 4 and 5 stars, even the high 3 will bolt if not given playing time.
With the way Underwood likes to play uptempo and pressure D, I would not be so quick to say we wouldn't play more than 10 and likely just 9. Next year alone we most likely will have Ayo, Trent, Kipper, Jordan, Damonte, Ebo, Ramey/Feliz, Kane, Jones and Griffin. That's 10 right there and doesn't include Matic, Georgi or another big - Hinson/Calloo/Trice - being signed. I think 10 will be a norm. We ran 10 pretty regularly this past season.

Calloo is originally from Windsor, Ontario. It's good to see Ford's Canadian pipeline finally maybe paying off.

Calloo isn't a super athlete but boy he's big and strong for a wing. His offer list isn't too shabby.

And if they cannot reduce the fouls there is a need for an expanded rotation.

And if he follows the pattern of this year there is an ebb and flow to the amount of playing time for certain players. Kipper was not playing much to start. DeMonte and TeJon lost playing time for various reasons - Some known and some unknown.

Yes, he does tend to ride the hot hand and I am OK with that. The players have to make the effort to get themselves involved. With Kipper this past year, it seemed like if he wasn't scoring, the rest of his game suffered. He is too talented for that to be the case moving forward. He can impact the game on the glass for sure and that will be sorely needed with Black and Finke gone. We weren't the best rebounding team anyway and our two best moved on, so someone will need to pick up the slack. Obviously expect all returnees to improve and thinking Griffin and Damonte from the guard/wing will be strong contributors.

Would tend to agree, but Hinson has yet to setup an OV with us that I know of, best get it scheduled.

Have not seen anything official, but know I read April 25th somewhere. He is at Ole Miss now. Blow up his twitter feed with orange & blue... ;)

Hinson seemed to be able to split the defense & maintain control of the ball as well as make the shot. Granted, not B1G level D. But getting to the rim or shooting a 3 did not seem to be an issue. That & he has some mass to him. Do not see him getting pushed around as much by MSU type teams.

Latest video I could on Calloo:

There's a lot to like there. Big body, skilled, has a good looking stroke. Makes you wonder why his stock has fallen. Obviously, there are so many studs on his Oak Hill team that it's got to be tough to stand out. I'm a big believer in finding kids that are trending up at the end of their prep careers, but Calloo would tick several boxes for us.
