If I had to rank them it would go
1. Goodwin
2. Damonte
3. Eastern
4. Verge
5. Finke
6. Frazier
7. Gilyard
8. Negron

Also, Charlie Moore was at the Event.

I'll take Goodwin, Damonte, Verge, Finke -- and uh, Charlie. :thumb:

Thanks for the evals!

Mitchell Robinson was strongly considering UNC before he committed to Texas A&M. Could have an effect on Tilmon.

He decommitted from TAMU per Jeff Borzello. Maybe he'll wind up at UNC

Kansas is more of a threat than UNC imo.

Probably if they don't land their top targets. They won't have much of need in the frontcourt in 2017 if they land DeAndre Ayton especially after getting Udoka in the 2016 class.

Kansas is more of a threat. Tilmon would prefer to stay closer to home. He isn't going to go to UNC, IMO

The more and more Goodwin blows up this summer the less and less I feel we will get him :(

Wait until we miss on Tilmon and Goodwin, this board will self-implode

Man the Charlie Moore talk has sure died down.

That's the Spirit? Why not say Wait until Groce lands Tilmon and Goodwin, this board will self-implode.:illinois:

Nojel Eastern - wasn't as impressed as I thought I was gonna be but he is a worker and rebounded well. He is not a point guard. I repeat he is not a point guard.I say he will have a solid college career at the 3 position.

Can you elaborate on this? It's been mentioned on here a couple times now, but most recruiting sites still have him listed as a PG.

Eh was not a point guard really at all either Verge or Gilyard was. But he just didn't look comfortable saw him turnover twice when handing the point just looked more smooth when he was a wing and got kicked out to him and then he attacked the rim. Is not a point guard.

It's definitely starting to look as if Goowin and Tillmon are looking elsewhere at this point. That Tillmon interview said a lot. Even when being asked Illinois questions it was as if he was being bothered by the mention of them

I think the writing is on the wall for Tilmon... I would really love to see Goodwin come here, but I am not holding my breath. Groce really needs a good year no matter what.

Both of their interviews didn't leave me feeling to good about them

Well it looks like we offered another big by the name of Nathan Reuvers, but I guess I'll wait to see if the offer is actually real (looking at you IamChrisFarley 😉).

He seems like a Michael Finke clone with somewhat longer arms.

It's for the best that people here watch this video, so they won't feel shocked or that it was a "nutpunch" when Jeremiah goes elsewhere.

The eternal optimist in me says we still have a chance, but I did go ahead and put a cup on just in case.

Jeremiah says all the right words about Illinois -
"good relationship with the coaches" -
"loyalty means a lot to me" -
"they were there for me from the beginning" -
but when you look at his face you get the impression he does not mean a word of it.

Maybe I didn't hear this correctly but it sounds like he says in the interview very quickly, and before getting cut off, that Michigan State, UNC, and Kansas are his top three schools right now. Anyone else catch that?
