I'm a Cardinals fan, too. My heart broke for that injury, just as much as Dudek's consecutive ACL.

Rako family is not one we want in our program, especially in light of off the court issues.

Two favorite teams..Sox and whomever is playing the cubbies....relish the northside choke every year for decades....but even i want schwarber to be healthy if only so he can fully participate in the sure to be coming swoon...you cant have a rivalry if the bad guys players cant play...you also cant have a heart if you celebrate a guy being deprived of doing what he loves

Rako=classless

If we stopped recruiting players due to their parents behavior, past or present, we would have a much smaller pool of potential recruits.

I'm not saying that's why Illinois quit recruiting him. I don't know why they did. If it's because of possible character issues with him, then I would understand. We don't need any of that (especially at this time). I was just responding to the reaction to the Schwarber injury. I can't speak for others, but my comments weren't really tied into us recruiting him or not.

I just seen what his brother said didn't see the response from Nick but the way his brother dogged the illini as a whole was classless.

Bill Self lands Josh Jackson, the top recruit in the class of 2016, who must have been impressed at how Self developed Alexander, Diallo, and Bragg.

We stopped pursuing him due to his attitude. Seeing his family reflect such is only affirmation.

Ha! I don't like interacting with recruits on Twitter, but when I responded to a media RT of his announcement that Illinois backed off recruitment due to some attitude issues in defense to why Illinois can't keep talent in-state, I got a response from him and Pete Rako (dad? Big bro? Not sure). Definitely defensive to the accusation. And Pete Rako tweeted happiness and glee re: Schwarber injury.

I don't think I would have wanted anything to do with the Rako family.

USC is the perfect place for him, out of sight and out of mind. For what it is worth, Kipper at 6-7 would crush Rako on the boards.

And he did so last week at Swish and Dish. Meanstreets is going to be a load this spring/summer if Bowen is joining them. Verge, Gilyard, Eastern, and Bowen.

If this is true,this is extremely interesting.

After Sunday's events, it certainly seems likely that coveted class of 2016 center Marque Bolden will indeed be a Duke Blue Devil sometime this week. Why do I think this?

From a Kentucky board. No matter what kind of rep your own coach has, I guess there's always someone lower on the sleaze pole.:)

Pretty entertaining seeing people cutting on Rakos skills on here. As a Jr. and Sr. he will be a solid college player.From what I've seen he plays hard too.
