One could argue that Maverick Morgan has developed pretty nicely.
At making a basket but not able to defend. Blm is right, imho.

I would argue that Groce's biggest problem has been his inability to get or develop any bigs. I still don't believe he has done that yet.
And one would be correct. Those who feel otherwise have clearly forgotten where he came from to where he is now.One could argue that Maverick Morgan has developed pretty nicely.
I'm not sure the 2017 recruiting class enters into Groce's future as much as people keep assuming.
If we're not in the tournament next year, I don't care if we have Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul Jabbar committed, I will have my pitchfork firmly in hand.
Word is that Jonathon Nicola will be reclassifying to the 2016 class. How badly do we need a big?
Perry Ellis has to be about 35, why can't we have a 30 year old? Count me in.
Egwu had nice development, as well, and he played mostly under Groce. He became a monster defensively, and his offensive game improved for sure even if it still wasn't the strength of his game. One could argue that Maverick Morgan has developed pretty nicely.
And Greg Oden was 47. Didn't Groce recruit him? He's done it before...
Dustin Ford visited @VRockBasketball 2017 PF @KiirMayan on Wednesday. Will watch him in ATL.

I like his tape there. Im totally good with him blocking and dunking. Given that's exactly what we lacked last year.

Self didn't do Cliff any favors, but one guy isn't going to change his reputation, either.
I wouldn't underestimate the advantages KU type programs have over us. Groce is a great recruiter, but the program is in the dumps. If a rival program had our last 3 seasons, can you imagine what we'd be saying about them?
Darnell Jackson, Sasha Kahn, the Morris twins, Thomas Robinson, Jeff Withey and even our own Robert Archibald were all be lower rated players that developed enough under Self to play in the NBA.

Are these the same kid? They don't look to me to be the same person. But they were only published a couple months apart.

As a four year starter the staff did not teach EGWU a single post move. He only had the fade away jumper that he didn't need with his size.
