TOP PERFORMERS
TERRENCE LEWIS – 2017 – SF – MILWAUKEE RIVERSIDE HS – WISCONSIN
Continuing his assault on rankings and recruiting charts Lewis was stellar again on the opening day of the NBPA Top 100 Camp. After a spring where he continued to display his high major game and potential top 50 national status, Lewis was efficient and dominant during both games. He finished in transition, off the dribble, around the basket, and with his perimeter jumper beyond the arc while mixing in decent activity, solid instincts, and an ability to deliver on both ends of the court. A solid and consistent opening day for the talented wing from Wisconsin.
NOTABLE NAMES
JUSTIN SMITH – 2017 – SF – STEVENSON HS – ILLINOIS
A highly explosive wing with soaring bounce and highlight transition skills, Smith had his best effort during the nightcap where he scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds on a 5-8 effort from the field. His activity elevated in the evening and he ran the floor better resulting in a solid second game performance. A highly athletic wing with a high ceiling, Smith showed flashes of his potential on Wednesday.
STOCK BOOSTERS
COURTNEY RAMEY – 2018 – PG – WEBSTER GROVES HS – MISSOURI
Finally back after sustaining an injury to his jaw in the spring, Ramey used game 1 to get his legs and rhythm together and he shined in flashes during the evening as he worked the offense with passing and scoring. He can get to the rim whenever he wants, he ripped the nets from beyond the arc on a couple of occasions, and he was in the mix on the glass collecting rebounds. As his activity and aggressiveness picks up this week his efforts will continue to grow. He’s arguably one of the top 5 pure floor generals in camp and made it look easy at times in doing so with a strong evening effort.
