I believe the Memo from the NBA said it could happen as early as 2021, but that shouldn't be a factor in Miller's recruitment. The only trade that wouldn't be squared away by then would be Phillys swap of Mikal Bridges for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 1st rounder. All other completed deals regarding picks in the 1st round would be resolved by then.What makes you say that? I hear that 2022 would be the absolute earliest that the NBA will consider opening up the draft to high schoolers. Doing it any earlier would cause outrage amongst NBA teams that have traded future draft picks without this knowledge.
