Probably wishful thinking but I'll ask anyway.... Shareef O'Neal chances??? Orlando Antigua connections?

Yeah, that's not happening.

More likely he ends up someplace on the West Coast -- USC, Oregon, etc. Though it's funny that in an article I just read about his decommitment from Arizona, it lists Kansas State as one of the schools he was interested in. That's not happening, either. But it was a case of "one of these schools is not like the other".

Been reported Bol Bol is recruiting him to Oregon?

Why are folks listing USC as a landing spot for newly avaliable recruits? I think many will wait and deal with places that have been clean. Can't recall UCLA or Cali being caught in this mess. Don't see MSU as a player. I think there will be a push for a fresh start at MSU bb and fb.

Hope we have a secret lead or commitment from some top 100 players that fit a need.

Jacobs commitment to SLU is an odd one, that's for sure. SLU's program is in an awful spot, with an awful coach and he commits there after an interview last week that Illinois was pretty much the only program recruiting him. It makes you think that Illinois had to have moved in a different direction.

I think there was the caveat that Jacobs had to academically qualify. Maybe an issue with grades, or we really weren’t all that interested after all

Starting to wonder whats going on with Trice. I thought for sure he would have committed by now. Three straight home game visits and not a word.

Maybe waiting for season to end at his current school?

What's everyones thoughts on Jermaine Hamlin and Jalen Shaw? I know they aren't highly rated recruits but 6'10 and 6'11 speaks for itself and they both have some post skills. Competition level maybe not the highest but at worst they seem like ideal redshirt prospects if nothing else.

To dig up old news, still disappointed in losing out on Landers Nolley. Adding him and/or Jones is exactly what this team needs.

I don't think we're in the market for redshirt candidates at the moment.

Rather have Trice.
