This is our bait 'n switch scouting service to possibly score him 3 Big 12 offers.
Well, we know that Kansas and K State follow Illinois recruiting like Burger King follows McDonalds (that was such a reach, but I enjoyed it). Who is the third?
I'm sure he's watching Okoro, but what about Lincoln's Jermaine Hamlin. Big kid with a good touch around the rim could be one to watch this summer. He reminds me some of Shaun Pruitt.

Well this Sean Miller/Zona news can’t hurt with Jones.
I guess Tevian Jones might reconsider AZ with the Miller news.
I remember a few people saying that about Malcolm Hill.
Miller is a dead man walking now. Forget Tevian, with BU's desperation to get talent paired with the FBI tearing things up...I think it's a strong possibility that we will be a player for a couple more big time recruits.
And no I don't literally mean forget Tev Jones. He would be a great get and our odds just went up tremendously. But things could get really interesting. Let's see which names become available. Let's set up a Courtney Ramey package deal since we seem to love package deals around here. Who is he friends with (preferably a big)?
I liked that. Was throwing in Lon Kruger as well. Did not want to leave anyone out.

Does Xavier scare anyone for Tevian assuming Sean Miller gets canned at Arizona? They've been consistently a top 20 team the past several years so might be more appealing to a kid with no hometown ties (Ayo / THT). I get the sense Jones would rather go to bigger name program than Illinois.

Relating to all the $$$ scandals going around, does the money all dry up immediately for those involved? No doubt there was $$$ promised for 2019 recruits and beyond. I would imagine anyone involved would try to back off,at least temporarily.
Wonder if some of the crystal ball predictors knew the results of the behind the scenes bidding wars?

I'm not sure what the ramifications of all this will have on the recruiting world. I would think this last report would make a lot of the money dry up. We're talking the FBI here, not the NCAA. Sean Miller could be looking at some jail time instead of looking to move to the nba, then Memphis, then Lexington once the trouble happens.

My first thought when the Miller story broke was "man, Tevian Jones sure as hell won't be going to Arizona now".
But yeah, any major program should be taken seriously......Xavier, Cincinnati, and pretty much everybody else on Jones' list. They've all been better than us lately.

We need to keep our powder dry, unless an elite player (e.g. Ramey, Jones) wants to commit. Slow play mode for non-elites should be the standard because there are going to be lots of elites looking for new homes. Normally, I wouldn't advocate waiting for birds in the bush, but this is far, far from normal.

Haha and that CB is from Piper.
They scare me, but there were also one of the programs specifically mentioned in the leaked investigative documents. Might make someone else think twice about them too at this point.
Piper dropped that within minutes of the Sean Miller stuff coming out. Pretty funny, actually.
