Didn't Rennie Clemmons dunk over Shaq give him one?
Well played, but you know we're going to have multiple posts about this one
I did chuckle out loud though, thanks.

I remember Sergio McLain had one.
Yeah, but he will officially still be listed from Indiana.
Listed where? Most recruiting services will still list him as an Illinois recruit. The McD roster lists the players high school so yes that would say LaLu.

2017 PG Da'Monte Williams on Javon Pickett's verbal with the possibility of the great class of 2017:I'll definitely listen to them about it.
Rivals and Scout show him as Indiana. ESPN has him from ESL but attending La Lu.
That is just lazy from McD, rivals, and scout. 247 is the same as espn. It does the consumer no good to list them where they go to HS. The Tilmon case isn't that considerable since it is one state over but it is deceptive for someone like Verge because he doesn't have a large connection to the state of Florida.
So indications are that Thorne will return this year, as soon as next game against Indiana. So pretty much closes the door on possible 6th year, which was doubtful to begin with.
Recruiting-wise, we now urgently need a C/post player, either HS or 5th year plugin.
I think we might have a better chance with Froling than some people think. He looks similar to Finke, so hopefully Finke's development impresses him. Plus, Finke gets a lot of good looks in this offense which should be enticing for Froling.
Just curious, in all seriousness, was DJ Richardson "considered" to be from Peoria, but officially from out of state? Just wondering how this prep school stuff works. Thanks.

http://247sports.com/Player/DJ-Richardson-8037Where someone is listed from doesn't really matter to me, either. Just seems that the overall sentiment on this board and even on BTN/ESPN, etc. went on about DJ being the last "Peoria recruit" for many consecutive years. Thanks for the clarification as I wasn't sure what was considered proper thinking.
So, if Tilmon decides to go elsewhere, no one can say we lost another highly ranked Illinois recruit...although, guaranteed it happens multiple times

Piper posted that Williams and Goodwin are waiting on the outcome of Groce before committing.

It does look like he will be back. As for the 6th year part, Loren Tate wrote last week that he was told by (I forget his name) in the basketball program, that it was likely that Thorne could get a 6th year. Who knows?
He couldn't come back if he plays this year, though, right?
