Definitely not a troll. Evan Flood just put out a article where Goodwin says creighton is recruiting him the hardest and he likes Indiana because they put guys in the NBA which is his ultimate goal. Talked highly of Illini like he always does. But if you think these recruits don't pay attention to how this program is currently than that's on you. I want our program on top more than anything but we're fooling ourselves if we believe it's shining at this moment

So if these kids are paying attention to what's going on at the programs recruiting them how in the world is Mizzou one of his leaders. Talk about a dumpster fire they just vacated an entire season and could have more penalties and are an absolute mess both on and off the court. They also have had players in legal trouble lately and are very bad. If he is high on Mizzou and is looking past the programs struggles then why wouldn't he also be high on Illinois and looking past our struggles?

Sounds like DaMonte had an off shooting night but found lots of other ways to contribute. Sucks that any Illini fans that might have gone didn't get a chance to see him at his best but it shows a lot that he still impacted the game despite the off night.

2017 G DEMARIUS JACOBS READY TO TAKE OFF
Antonio Curro — National Recruiting Editor - NY2LASPORTS.COM

A high ceiling prospect, Jacobs hits the hardwood at 6’3 with a 175 pound frame and the talented guard can deliver at either position on the perimeter. Equipped with a long lean plus length frame, Jacobs has shown an ability to slide between the lead guard and shooting guard position with dominant results. The emerging junior guard can create if needed and he's shown an ability to score from all three levels on the court. He has an improving perimeter stroke from beyond the arc to go along with a mid-range jumper and an ability to post up smaller guards. While skilled and versatile, Jacobs biggest attribute is his athleticism and vertical leaping ability which allow his to attack off the bounce and finish in traffic or soar in transition in highlight fashion. Add to the mix his frame and instincts and Jacobs looks the part of a high impact defensive player as well potentially with continued development.

Can't we issue a restraining order or something? No way Collins should even be allowed into Champaign to recruit.

Box and one's are hard for any high school player to beat. Usually when they do that, the coach has no other choice than to make the person being guarded the decoy. Then it becomes a 4-3 for the others.

Mich.St.'s Izzo as well as Wisconsin, Marquette, Illinois & Minnesota coaches will watch PG Nojel Eastern'17 today

Will be playing Simeon in City/Suburban shootout.
Don't know if any of you got to watch Simeon - Morgan Park last night in the CPS semi's. I got home from the West Aurora game just in time to watch the second half (it was on UToo TV or whatever it is, channel 337 or something on my cable system). One of the best 2nd half's I've seen this season. Simeon won by 2, entire half was see-saw, Charlie and Zach (and Ben Coupet) were sensational, Smith and Irvin were animated to say the least and the crowd was nuts. Great atmosphere and great game. Don't know what Simeon will have left but they played MP last night, play Evanston tonight, and play Kenwood (19-3) for the CPS championship Sunday night. Pretty rough 3 day stretch.

Tonight's game won't be streamed or televised. Think Sunday night's game will be on UToo TV.

He certainly does seem athletic. He seems like he would be a good defender. I'll be curious to see how this one goes moving forward.

Losing Colbert really hurts now. He showed flashes for two years but was getting better. Often played ahead of Mav. Groce in effect has lost Black, Thorne, Colbett, and Paul.

Was just thinking what our rebounding margin would be with Throne, Paul, and Black. I highly doubt we would be in the negative.
