Maybe when Michigan released Spike they only said he could not go to B10 b-ball teams that Michigan views as a competitive peer.
Here's what an mlive article had to say about that

"According to Albrecht, Beilein told him that while he would not encourage Albrecht to transfer within the Big Ten, but also admitted there's little the program could do to prevent him from such an option. A year ago, Michigan graduate transfer Max Bielfeldt was granted a waiver to transfer within the Big Ten and choose to enroll at Indiana."

Roux said it's a 'big visit.' So it's not Tilmon or Goodwin. Freshman PG from St. Joe's, Rako? Who else are in on that can be considered a big visit?

Pretty stumped, trying to figure this out. Rako would be kind of anti-climatic. His recruitment has been a wild one so it wouldn't surprise me though.

Do you think "big" was implying "big man"?

Pretty sure he doesn't know who it is. Hence why he speculated Tilmon, which is likely wrong as it turns out. Could be a highly ranked recruit, might not be. Could be a big man, might not be. No one knows.

Rako..

I dunno, I think we need some dudes with an edge. Some cockiness.

I haven't watched much of Rako though. Is he a Big 10 talent?

Yes, his attitude isn't the best . It seems like hes always yelling at his teammates, arguing with the refs, talking trash to other team, flopping, faking an injury, laying on the court. He is something else to watch, pretty entertaining actually. I'm not convinced he will be a successful college basketball player. He's like Demarcus Cousins(attitude) without the skill.

Sounds like a good soccer player. [emoji3]

I don't know enough about the kid to comment, but he sounds like an interesting character.

The fact that none of the regular guys covering the team know, makes me think that it is a College Transfer. A lot of these guys that cover recruiting usually have an idea if a HS kid is coming on a visit. I guess unless the HS kid wants it to be a surprise!

Remember I said someone I trusted that was in the know said a surprise recruit was about to jump on board with the plan. Not sure if this was him but the timing is right.

Josh Jackson!!! (Edit: This is a guess and is mostly sarcastic - don't want anyone to get hopeful for anything based off my lack of knowledge)
