If a player transfers to a school, sits out a year, then transfers again to another school, is he eligible to play immediately or does he have to sit out again?

Still have to sit out unless they use the grad transfer rule, I believe. Pretty sure they have to be at their new school a year before they can play.

If you transfer, you have to complete the one-year residency requirement at the new school. So you have to sit out again, unless you are granted a waiver exception. Luke Recker is an example where a waiver was granted.

I have seen Mt. Carmel 4 times. They have a nice team. They are in a good basketball conference comprised of 7 Indiana schools and Mt. Carmel. I think they have the smallest enrollment in the conference. Marcotte and Carpenter are a nice 1-2 punch. However, 6'3" sophomore Austin Rager is a player to watch. He generally defers to the other 2 players. He is very athletic and has some very good basketball skills. Orr is probably the odds on favorite, but sometimes the favorite falls when playing at Peoria.
Rager is the most improved player of the squad I think. He's been lethal.

A southern Illinois battle for the Class 1A State Championship as Effingham St. Anthony will take on Okawville. Should be a good battle. Good luck to both teams.

Trent Frazier is still coming to Illinois

WSOY interview with Trent Frazier where he just straight comes out and says that he will come play for the University of Illinois regardless of any coaching changes. Even beyond the good news of that statement alone, it's a neat interview with what I think is going to be a much-loved Illini. The pertinent conversation begins around the 8-minute mark, but I encourage listening to the whole thing:

http://www.nowdecatur.com/podcast-chief-talk-podcast/ It's the 3/10 post.

To summarize, the interviewer just approaches it tentatively at first (it's a little awkward), then takes it head-on. TF even mentions about how he talked with his family about what would happen if Groce were to be fired, and it wouldn't change his mind any.

I actually thought it was an extremely uncomfortable and really bad interview. Kudos to Frazier for handling it with such composure and respect.

This is super cool to hear. I had my money on him transferring if we fired JG. I'll sleep well tonight.

Messiah Jones reminds me so much of Ed Morrow. Unfortunately he's undersized to play the post at the next level but he is a beast.
Simeon leads by 11 at the end of 3, Verge has 17 points but Simeon has nothing but mid and high major kids on the court.

Through 3Q: Edwardsville 52, Danville 42.

Smith finished with 45 as Edwardsville cruised over Danville. Him and Trent Frazier in the same backcourt would be borderline illegal.

We have to get him! Lucas, Frazier and Smith along with Tillmon should be big ten championshio contenders

The 4A state champion will be the winner in Normal on Tuesday night. Will be a fantastic game.

Don't sleep on Bolingbrook or Evanston, although deep down I tend to agree with you.

What 9 minute stretch for Bolingbrook. Down 55-43, Raiders have outscored Joliet West 28-9 and lead 71-64 with 1:16 to play

Irvin bros feeling pretty salty this eve. Poor 'Zo, this is what he gets for daring to choose Meanstreets over the Fire.
