Groce using commercial more than the Lear. Makes them difficult to follow. Got to believe Frazier in Suwanee is a stop. As I posted I would not rule out Thomas Allen. This thing will be real fluid up until OV's start happening.
All things considered, I think Scruggs is still too much of a reach. I sure hope I'm wrong.

I don't recall seeing this name before. What's the story with him ?
Just offered him about 2 weeks ago. Combo guard with excellent passing skills from Garner, NC but headed to Brewster Academy for Senior year. Lots of HM's in on him. Groce must have some angle here or he wouldn't have offered this late.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's wrong with Wisch's opinion on Groce.
He's simply saying that getting Tilmon is huge AND now he needs to win. Tilmon alone doesn't save his job.
I think it's fair Groce is on the hot seat when you also consider the off-court incidents with Nunn and Black.
I believe however that this class, assuming Goodwin comes too, has a chance to turn this program around and start something special.

This seems very fair. I think the off court episodes have been very damaging, moreso than the mediocrity that has transpired the last two seasons on the court.

I do cost analyses for a company with private jets. You would not believe the variable cost per hour of flights for these jets.
Does the athletic department lease, own, or all of the Lear trips chartered?

I think you're taking one aspect of that statement too narrowly. If loyalty is something Goodwin values, then Groce has shown that. In addition, coaches generally attend the games of players they value/want the most. Multiple absences, to me, says that Goodwin is not their top priority.

Generally chartered w/Flightstar out of Willard. Sometimes you will see them take Flightstar to MDW and then fly commercially or if you were Weber you'd drive that Buick LeSabre up 57.

People throwing in the towel on Scruggs are going to be positively surprised next month. I'm not saying we'll get him, but Monday changed quite a few things for Groce & Co.
