If the news regarding JGood is in fact bad, time to refocus the love on Trent Frazier. It will pain me as much as anyone to see JGood go, but if you want to talk quality consolation prize, see Frazier. The intangibles, toughness & winning mentality of Goodwin can't be beat, but Frazier ain't no slouch. Our next commit may very well have two state titles to brag about when it's all said and done, along athleticism and shooting abilities Goodwin may never come close to.

I would much rather Goodwin go to SLU than somewhere in the Big 10.

Was gonna photoshop him into the Cliff hat trick pic and have JG pic us, but that sound like too much work today.

I always do. They have been really dedicated towards a couple of these recruits to get snubbed these last couple years. They've shown a lot of loyalty. At least the JE crew recognized it - I have a feeling JG won't even comment.

Corey Evans CB just flipped, should see the others follow suit before 1 unless they're not on it today. I mean, this did escalate pretty quickly for guys who are trying to keep tabs on multiple recruitments.

I would love to see us add another 4/5 guy if you could RS him and picket to give them a year with Fletch then if we get an open scolly in 18 would be a real good shape class balance wise and talent wise. I for one think if Picket gets here with the same attitude as Hill and works his butt off he will leave as a top 10 all times points guy

Feel bad for the staff, they put a lot into this recruitment. I'm sure Tilmon is disappointed as well. Ford being at SLU is not great for us, as he will be recruiting downstate and he is definitely a guy who is not afraid to get in the mud a bit. I don't think there is anything particularly dirty about Goodwin's recruitment.

Well that's that... Goodwin is dead to me... ha. In all honesty though doubt he is heard from much after this other than by salty posters on this board that somehow blame Groce with the outcome for a player that was not a need at all. Everyone wanted him to come to UI including the current commits but whatever do what you want for whatever reason there may be. Have fun with irrelevance JG because that is what SLU gives.

Sure hope his plan is coaching or playing overseas. Don't see where he plays NBA especially as a PG
