I think we have great sell for bigs. Whether they say it or not, big guys wanna handle, drive and shoot 3s like guards. Well guess what, BU wants you to do it too, so you'll actually develop those skills and get to use them in our offense. Oh, and icing on the cake, Antigua will coach you, have you heard of the bigs he's been around?

+1

It's a great pitch, but it will be easier once we get rolling.

Conditt is a big time Iowa State legacy. His Dad was a FB star there in the early 90's. His Dad cried when he got the ISU offer. They've been to Ames twice this summer. He must be waiting for the B1G and closer to home!!:)
p.s. He heads to ISU this weekend.

Not to be picky, but not sure 31 tackles and 2 sacks in 14 games over two years at Iowa State qualifies you as a "star."

4 Basketball visitors this weekend?

2 officials starting Friday evening (Castleton and Nolley), an unofficial on Sunday (Hayes), and a surprise unofficial visitor, Saturday?

For me, Nolley has become the main target. If we only get one player, he'd be my pick. Offensively, he brings it all and is a perfect fit for BU's system. If he were to commitment first, I think we also get Ayo and Conditt or possibly Castleton.Who knows? Hayes would round out a great class.

Thoughts on what percent chance we have of getting a commit this weekend?

10 %, like to say more, nolley has more visits and castleton still in love with Florida. Don't see it happening, maybe September 29. ;)

Guys have to be careful with their words at certain points. It can be a tricky sell telling Ayo etc. on "being great, be in your state" while simultaneously telling Castleton to choose us over Florida. You have to make sure that same pitch isn't being rung in Castletons ear. If Florida picks up the heat, I'm sure it will be by them.

There is a different selling point to every single player. Every home town team uses that line and uses the opposite to get people out of state.

If you were a qualifier out of high school and you go to prep school, do you even need to go to class? You have literally no academic work to do.

Can you take the equivalent of AP courses that might transfer in as college credits, making your freshman year in college easier?

I doubt if Sunrise has a whole lot of AP classes. My youngest, was able to test in to UIUC with 36 hours of AP credit. He was able to graduate with his engineering degree in 4 years. Saved me roughly $30,000. :)
