I think we are going to be stuck with 2 years of post players that are going to take some time to get ready to make an impact at this level. Thankfully, we have Finke and Black to help ease that transition for 2 years, but it makes it that much more critical to land someone like Okoro and EJ in 2019 to make sure we can add some top talent to that group. Matic, Ebo, and someone like Conditt all seem like they could progress to be great pieces of this team but none seem to be ready to take on the B1G day one (most bigs aren't).

Seems like ones that are ready are 5 stars. Reasonable strategy to take athletes and develop their skills as their bodies develop. Ebo seems to fit this but still could be a role player this year for certain match ups. If some are developed and drafted would be attraction for recruits.

Big day for Talen and a big transfer for Simeon. Catholic League losing their best players to public league. So far, Pinson, Chase Adams, Maurice Commander, Marquise Walker and one more whose name escapes me, it being too early in the AM for my memory to work properly.

Talen Horton-Tucker @_Tal0w ('18 Simeon Career Academy IL) has been offered by Florida State. Also offered by Michigan State & UNLV today.

None of the Fenwick players seem to be transferring. Maybe we will get that state championship one day.

Please, Talen, anything but this.
Lastly, Talen Horton-Tucker is another small forward that Missouri could heat things up for. It is likely that the super versatile and skilled recruit will remain in his Midwest locale for college but the Tigers could sell the chance to come in and take over the majority of the minutes left by Porter, which may appeal to the four-star prospect.
While Horton-Tucker and Hamilton would be tremendous hauls, Hellems may be the likeliest for the Tigers in the 2018 class.

so its a silent offer that got leaked?

It's insurance for a bigger fish. The Irvins have really hyped this kid up, even going as far as to say he is the #2 player in the state. If the staff can give this kid an offer, and hype up his status then the Irvins will pleased with that.

What I have heard is that Ayo is really good friends with Pearson, and they may want to play together. If so, we take Pearson because we can get Ayo, but also because I think the staff believes they can develop him.

The whole staff has watched the Fire at every single stop throughout the evaluation periods, they wouldn't put that offer out there if they didn't at least see some potential for this kid, besides the possibility of it helping land Ayo.

Didn't see that anyone mentioned, but 4 CBs for THT to MSU already, including Jerry Meyer.

Really wanted him, but that is a good fit for him. Better there than NU anyway.

Not at all a done deal yet for THT to MSU.

I think final 5 for THT will wind up being Northwestern, Michigan State, Iowa State, Xavier, and Illinois.

I have heard he wants to get up to MSU again before deciding, he has visited all other schools.

Pearson or Conditt? Don't they have a very similar game and size?

Conditt unless we only get Ayo if we take Pearson...then the answer becomes easy.

If we could get THT he would fit extremely well into this team but we'll just have to wait and see. Agree anywhere but NU and Mizzou and I'll be happy.
