Not that it means anything also, but does one have to consent to be followed on twitter?

In regards to Porter's commitment - still have to win 20 games. Can't imagine how badly this will be spun against Cuonzo/Miz in recruitment battles. Good luck.

Not sure about fans in STL city, probably way more for Mizzou than that, but a large part of the viewing area for the STL media is on the east side where its mostly Illini fans. The biggest issue with the coverage has nothing to do with the fans its that like 80% of the STL media graduated from Mizzou school of journalism.

This is spot on. STL media is mainly populated with Mizzou grads/fanboys, similar to CHI being a Medill fanboy fest for NU. They pretty much ignore the Illini base across the river unless there is a media tour like today.

Nope, you can follow anyone you want for the most part. I just think that if he thought mizzou was out of it he wouldnt have followed him.

And IMO that's a legitimate reason to block a specific school when releasing a recruit.

What exactly is that legitimate reason? Somebody saying on an internet board that Mizzou staff think they got him?

If Tilmon elects to be released of his LOI, we will release him. Whether he does ask out remains to be seen.

I'd say on the Missouri side of the river (at least while I was living there) it is probably like 90%/10% for Mizzou, with the 10% all being alumni who work at Boeing and a handful of other places.

On the Illinois side, it's probably something like 70%/30% in favor of Illinois. There's definitely a sickeningly large number of Mizzou fans there.

30%, only when they are winning. Mizzou is one of, if not the biggest bandwagon jumping fan base in the country.

Early in college, before she had any familiarity with them, I described Mizzou fans to my now wife as being like a group of recent lottery winners. I stand by that assessment.
