If there is no Tilmon, with the loss of Morgan....we're going to get murdered in the paint. Can Underwood coach height or lack of depth?

With no Hill, where is that scoring going to come from?

As currently constructed, this team is completely one dimensional, with no size and no young talent to develop.

If Walker can bring these kids home.....that changes things significantly. If not, I don't care who's on the sideline.

My good man, I urge you to take a deep breath, learn what a spread offense is all about and consider how a soon-to-be sophomore Tejon Lucas can make this engine run. If you really think we have no young talent to develop around this thing, you're far off.

As for the CBs, there is no penalty for picking a flip after the commitment, but I still think some one Meyer has gotten legit info from in the past has told him they think Tilmon is at least wavering. The rest of the flips are probably based on Meyer doing so.

Is Whitman scheduled to be on the Tilmon visit? If so when is the last time our AD went on a recruiting visit??

@joehoopsreport better college career when it's all said and done. Damonte Williams/Mark Smith?

@cjheiden6 ... Ooohh, tough call & good one. Wanted so bad to see DaMonte put together assertive, dominating year. On his way, injury hit

I realize its jumping to assumptions but is this an either or question for Underwood?

Kipper is gonna be awesome in this system, just you wait.

As a PF? I keep hearing people say they can see Kipper playing PF, and I just don't see that. I love him at the SF or other wing, but not PF.

Kansas has 4 guys that can handle the ball, shoot and drive on the floor at once. I think college basketball is heading to this style of play. I don't think you can have too many wings and PG's. IF Illini keep all the recruits and add Smith we could play this style of ball. (Michigan also plays this style)

He will get time at the three and four. Match ups. When Underwood wants to play three guards.

I also prefer him on the wing, but Kipper has all the tools to play the 4 at this level depending on matchups.

You are what you can guard and when I saw Kipper effectively guard Pardon, Nick Ward, and DJ Wilson that told me what I needed to know.

BWood system uses four perimeter players around one big, so it works on that end of the floor. The question will be if he can defend the PF. I think he can, so I expect him to play there quite a bit next season.

Just heard Cusamano and Tuna say that if he (Tilmon) reopens his recruitment after he talks to Underwood and gives Counzo a chance to come in to his mom's house and and sit down with the two of them it will be all over for Illinois.

Man those idiots are the worst. Tilmon hasnt mentioned Mizzou once in any conversation about potential colleges!!

I like how they complain about AAU being corrupt, and yet Mizzou has basically purchased MPJ.

Is that really the question? :D The answer is an emphatic yes.

I see Kip is listed at 6'6". Is he a legit 6'6"? He always looks closer to 6'3" on my TV screen. I agree his defensive skills and motor allow him to guard a variety of guys, but it still seems like he'd be disadvantaged against a "real" PF. I may need to go back and dig up some film to see if/when he guarded those opposing 4's, especially on the block.

What's the deal with recruits Underwood was targeting at OK St? Did he have any commits that we're going to target?
