Well I see dead people, so it would be okay if you heard things I suppose.
Haha what a classic movie.....

I'm almost positive this isn't true.
You are correct. Langford only had them in his original list of 7.It was Ramey and Anfernee Simons that had committed and then de-committed after the FBI sting.

1:40 mark!
He is ranked 16th and Marlon Taylor is 17th....Trice is#56
While Loyola is having a really good season, you realize they were just 18-14 last year and 15-17 the season before that, so to say they are in a better place lately than Illinois, especially considering they play in a much weaker conference, is probably a stretch.I've heard there's no chance Caroline leaves Nevada for Illinois, so that's likely not happening. I'd also be surprised to see Cunningham leave Dayton for a mediocre team like Illinois. It might be more likely he'd join a team like Loyola or maybe Ohio State, teams with recent success to point to. JMHO.
This ^^^^, I mentioned this as well in the argument for Ramey still wanting to come here and Ayo not being a deterrent against it. Simons and him signed, why don't Ayo and him?
I think the correlation may have more weight than others in regards to Ramey possibly coming here. 7-40 Simons/Ramey or 27-40 Ayo/Ramey ranking comparision from 24/7.
I think Smith, Black, Lucas, and Vesel are the four defections. Underwood landed Griffin, but he needs Jones as a replacement for Smith. He needs Trice or Manuel to replace Vesel, and Cunningham would be his ideal replacement for Black. I'm not sold that will happen.
"teams with recent success" ... completely accurate. I didn't say "a better place lately than Illinois", but they've certainly had more success recently. And next year ain't lookin' great for the Illini, either. I'm not claiming he'd go to Loyola, but to say he's Illinois-bound (as some seem to be hinting) is a fabrication.

The difference is that in addition to Ayo, Illinois has a stud freshman playing PG already in Frazier.
So it's not just a matter of Ayo scaring him off. It's the combination of Ayo and Frazier.
If Ramey wants to be "the man" with the ball in his hands, Illinois probably isn't the ideal fit.
Not sure if he has much range on his jumper, but he has serious low-block game and good footwork.
I did not know this. That is astounding. This was just a partial list of those who left South Carolina program in the 3.5 years prior to the Final Four year:
...
We should just get used to 4-5 players leaving each season.
Well should be an interesting next month.
Going to have 5 new players next year at least imo including AYO and Griffin, maybe 6.
Need to lock down Jones in the next 2 weeks after his visit to start.
Grab a freshman big, and work the grad transfer route hard.
As I've pointed out previously, this is what Huggins/Martin/Underwood coaching tree does.

We already have/had that with Finke, how did that work out. I would love for us to have his skill set near the basket, plus he looks like a + passer.
You're not the only one
I assume you think Vessel and Black are locks to leave (with Black probably going pro in Europe).
Sounds like we will find out about Black tonight or tomorrow for sure one way or another.
