They said the same thing about Zion Williamson a few years backI wanna love Podz but man that competition is just soooo weak it’s hard to evaluate him
with all due respect , Podz is no Zion Williamson !!They said the same thing about Zion Williamson a few years back
Lol, not yet at least!!with all due respect , Podz is no Zion Williamson !!
This is such a weird comparison, Zion Williamson was a 6'7" 280 lb physical phenomenon. He was a top 5 player nationally. His physical skills alone stood out. The competition was inconsequential. They said the same thing about Zion Williamson a few years back
Yet our coaching staff, who has more basketball knowledge in the dirt under their fingernails, than does anyone on this message board seem to like him. This is such a weird comparison, Zion Williamson was a 6'7" 280 lb physical phenomenon. That's the issue with Podz. He is not a physical specimen. If anything he looks perhaps a little below average for a P5 player.
I'm not sure how many Underwood thinks we need.
That has nothing to do with the fact that a comparison to Zion Williamson is a bad one.Yet our coaching staff, who has more basketball knowledge in the dirt under their fingernails, than does anyone on this message board seem to like him.
Perhaps we should alert them that Illinois Loyalty Board doesn't think he can carry Tyler Underwoods jockstrap.
I want all to know that I was ready with more fish puns for this and I caught myself before letting my thoughts fly.You guys crack me up. Brandin Podz is down to Ill, WF, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Miami. He is Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin and is an elite shooter. His HS coach said he works harder than any player he has coached. You can never have too many shooters. Illini would take him in a heartbeat.
Agree 100 %. The staff has't done a very good job evaluating talent thus far. Ayo, Kofi, Curbelo .If you don't trust this staff's evaluation abilities by now.......
I'm glad we're all off the hook.I want all to know that I was ready with more fish puns for this and I caught myself before letting my thoughts fly.
He wears his mask about as well as my son does on the court.
ClassicI love jokes, but I got excited when I saw 2 new pages in the recruiting thread and was a little let down when 95% of the new posts are fish puns
Sign him up ,, I'm all in.....You guys crack me up. Brandin Podz is down to Ill, WF, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Miami. He is Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin and is an elite shooter. Don’t tell me we went over the limit!I love jokes, but I got excited when I saw 2 new pages in the recruiting thread and was a little let down when 95% of the new posts are fish puns
I'm not sure about a guy named Carp, but I do know we failed recruiting a guy named Krap....Use this one when we’re recruiting a guy named Carp.
Same with Anthony Davis who played at some no name charter school. He turned out to be alright.I totally agree with you, but I will say that Zion Williamson did not play against the best in high school either and he turned out to be impressive
Hi, it’s Jalen Coleman-Landis here. I’m an elite 5-star sharpshooter. I have an extra year of eligibility. Want me back? You guys crack me up. Brandin Podz is down to Ill, WF, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Miami. He is Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin and is an elite shooter. His HS coach said he works harder than any player he has coached. No, they still want Schutt badly. Different positions.Nice. They'd be taking him over Schutt. Staff must be sky high on Bass.
Not gonna lie, I love that he's an Indiana kid.
