Big man that committed to Oregon a couple years ago when he had Oregon and Illinois down in his last 2. Another big disappointment for our recruiting, and this was fresh off the Tilmon backstabbing
From Bloomington, o well late to the ./s

Why don’t we just add Cam Fletcher while we’re at it?! Another super athletic wing, from the STL. Saw him and Caleb Love face off last year and I’m a big fan...but I bet he ends up at Mizzou

It will come down to perceived playing time. I hope Ty Ty likes the idea of being this year’s Curbelo. I would think he would. But he’d start for lots of teams.

I could see a AC, AM, TyTy starting lineup
Sure could. But I also think our lineup next year could be:

Curbello
Top player not currently on the team ;)
Ace

In this scenario, I think Ty TY is more of a PG than the unmentioned one above, so I think he’s a perfect combo guard to be the 6th man.

Kansas or Illinois? Texas? Oklahoma State?

I don't see how we get Burnett and Washington, but if this staff can pull it off, start searching for the sculptor.
Well we're already searching for the sculptor. At that point you'd be looking for more and bigger pieces of marble.

Earl Timberlake (#35 recruit in the class of 2020) is transferring from Miami. Is this going to be a new trend? I know transfers have been increasing every year but now this is the 4th top 40 or so freshman who is transferring (that I can think of). Nimari, Tshiebwe, and now Cam'Ron Fletcher and this kid.

With no sit out year now, absolutely yes.

I hope the shrugs are directed at those in our fan base whose immediate instinct is to panic, rather than Bossi. The Gordon and Snider fiascos did a lot of damage.

Yeah that wasn't a shot at Bossi all he can report is what he is told. That was more aimed at people skeptical of information provided on here just because it's not the same as the mainstream stuff. There's always a lot going on behind the scenes.

Don't think this would be a good thing for team chemistry. especially if Hutch is back and playing. Maybe one of the two would be good, but whoever it is has got to be a team first, got your back, WE Will Win kind of guy who can shoot the lights out from the arc.

Trust coach. He knows what he’s doing. The problem our team had the last decade was not having enough talent. If a top 30 point guard nationally wants to come here, you make it work.

Yeah, we've just been through 2 coaches who wasted the past 12 or 13 years because they had no idea of what it took to build a program.

I am surprised we have not heard any news from Manhattan about Weber. I figured something would have leaked or made public. JW made a great hire in BU after snatching him from OKST. Since Brad is only 57, he could be around for the next 8-10 years.

Reclassification possibilities, the craziest transfer portal ever, unsigned HS kids, this is going to be fun. You make a deep NCAA run or win it all and you might have your pick of who you want.

The playbook is going to become any top-40(isn) recruit that doesn't have a good first year will seek out a transfer. Regardless of the blame should be laid at the feet of the coaching staff or the player, you might as well try a new environment and see if things will improve.

My worry is if the top-40 recruit does poorly, decides to transfer, but then does poorly at the second location and decides to do a second transfer. At some point they need to reflect on their game, realize the value of finding a long-term home, so they can finish their degree and think of a career outside of bball.

Not sure who this HeatCheck guy is, but since his tweet, a lot more teams involved.....Arizona (ugh, Home state), UCLA, Oregon, TT, TX A&M, and Pitt. Long way to go on this one, unfortunately.

2nd transfer requires a one year sit out, IIRC. That will be a major deterrent to the scenario you're suggesting.
