I watched one video of Bass and I like him, a tall guard with a nice shooting touch in HS. I trust Coach Underwood at this point to be making offers to the right kind of players for his future teams, and this kid seems to have a big upside. I don't think we should get too focused on 3 or 4 stars. Although when you land a 5 star recruit, that is something else.

Rankings are really messed up right now for 2022 from covid. The guys on Rivals and 24/7 can't see all the players in person.

Bass will end up being a top 100 guy when all is said and done.

Even new uploads of some videos are from last year, not many people aside from the staff have seen his most recent footage.

Thanks, but I'm just a JV scrub. The real all stars are Combes, Indy, 0440, etc. I just pick up the crumbs. The true champion is Dan!! Over 2.000 fans on here last week. I can't imagine what it will be like for the FF.

I moved here from Illinois 20+ years ago. It seems almost everyone I know moved here from Michigan. I don't get it, but if we can keep pulling recruits from here maybe someday someone will notice my Illini hat! No one even gives me a hard time about it!

At worst, he's a combo. Seems very comfortable with the ball and already is an elite passer. Could play point.

Not suggesting he's a finished product. He needs to tighten his handle. But other than that, he appears to have it. Just needs to keep working.

Frazier and DW possibly returning does not take up scholarship spots, but it certainly affects who may want to come here. Tate said again today he is hearing they are both “considering” returning. Nothing’s set in stone either way and I’d love to have them back, but it does make recruiting a bit tougher not knowing.

Its a catch-22. Part of me wants them to pursue their careers in the pros so we can reload but having them here would be good for next year but will weaken us in 22-23.

Sorry, I don't think that has anything to do with it. If he's projected as a 1st rounder (and he's not, right now), he's gone. If he's guaranteed to get guaranteed money (top ~8-10 of the 2nd round, he's almost for sure gone). If it's a crap shoot, we have a chance, but only if he thinks he'll be able to substantially improve his draft ranking.

If Kofi comes back..... we also return GB, Miller, Curbelo, Grandison, Hawkins, and BBV. Add Goode to the mix. Possibly Hutch returns. Thats a top five team right there. If DMFW and Trent come back.... Could enter the season at #1 before adding any other possible recruits..
