Who you taking?

Option A (6'5" Wing):
- Player averaged 13.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.3 apg for 2 years in the MEAC (2 years eligibility left)

Option B (6'5" Wing)
- Player averaged 17.1 ppg, 5.4 rbg, 2.4 apg in the ACC (1 year of eligibility left)

Option C (6'5" Wing)
- Player averaged 24.8 ppg combined SR/AAU, 5.8 rbg, 1.4 apg (Incoming Freshman played in what would be equivalent to our 3A/4A cut line for IHSA)

Hmm, I'm taking Player B first then Player C then Player A. What do I win? :)

I’m gonna need video or some advanced stats. Some guys are taking 20 shots to get 20+. Efficiency, defense, and fit are key for me. Its too hard to do a blind resume.

I'm going crazy here.

I googled "Illinois basketball greatest recruiting misses" and found an SB Nation article from 2014 featuring Livingston, Scheyer, Gordon, Alexander ...

BUT WHO IS DJAX?

Yes, Illini have lost out on a few recruits since 2005, but I can't complain about the quality of recent Illini recruits lately (and more to come).

Thanks.

Demetrius Jackson to ND. The start of the great PG draught for Groce. Him and Tyler Ennis were the first near misses and they were within like a week or two of each other I want to say. Heady days on here, but Brunson and Juwan Evans was a different level.

Jawun Evans has to be up there, too.

I question whether Livingston or Alexander were really misses. Livingston picked Duke then ended up in the NBA without setting foot on campus. Alexander was far more trouble than he was worth for Kansas. If he had chosen the Illini, we would likely would have been hit with multiple sanctions. What did we lose with either?

Respectfully disagree. Giorgi needs help defending the lower block and the complimenting 4 needs to be a stretch on offense. So a stretch 4 on offense and a interior defender on defense, Giorgi dominated the lower block on offense without him we wouldn't have won the B1G championship against OSU.
Spot on. Great comments. I agree entirely.
