Haha, wasn't Auburn a late addition to this recruitment. I can't even find that they even formally offered. Tyty's ship has maybe sailed and maybe just maybe Burnett's too.

TyTy is all over the place... Still think there is a chance he winds up here.

Where Nimari wants to go and where Nikki B wants him to go, do not align... I will leave it at that.

Yup. TyTy likes us and I think we are right there with a solid chance to land him. Nimari is not over yet, but there is a lot of drama in that recruitment and as we all know we don't usually do well with that type of thing.

With all these players in the transfer portal, I have to think most will not find a better situation. Many want to be more of the focus, yet many don't want to drop a tier in playing level. The new players are going to have to acclimate to existing players and coaches, nobody is likely to hand them the keys to the car.

Even with Nimari for example, he and AceWolf weren't to far apart in the rankings. Miller is familiar with the team, coaches and style of play. I think there is a lot to be said about staying and developing in the school you originally picked, unless it is truly an unbearable situation. I'm curious how many transfer to a higher or lower level program, how many are somewhat equal.

Christian Bishop in the portal for Creighton, looked like a solid player throughout the tournament.

if tyty does not work out I really like our chances with Franklin-he's a perfect fit
Personally, I would take Franklin over Tyty. Franklin is a proven college player and has a high character reputation. Tyty isn’t, and doesn’t.
That’s not to say I think Tyty would be a mistake, but I think its a gamble. Certainly a higher ceiling, but a much lower floor.

We have a lot of mistakes in recruiting players. Here is my short list from the late 90s from Illinois that I wish we would have gotten.
Andre Iguodala instead we got Rich McBride (Lamphier)
Evan Turner instead we got Demetri McCamey (St Joes)
Brian Cardinal (Unity) His dad was our trainer

And Weber’s biggest misses was Shannon Brown who went to MSU and Jon Scheyer (Weber’s brother was his high school coach)

Not on my list Derrick Rose due to his recruiting drama and Livingston since he wasn’t going to college
It was Self who didn’t get Shannon Brown.
