That brings up a good question. Where would a starting lineup of Steve Nash, Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd, Chris Webber and Kofi Cockburn finish in the Big Ten? Not in their primes, where they are right now

Most of those guys aren't that far removed from the league and have decades of experience in how to play great, high-level, team basketball... plus Kofi. I think they'd still finish first no problem. Might flirt with undefeated.

Think I would take that bet. 45, 46, 47, 47 yrs old will be sucking wind in 5 mins.

I would probably agree with you. I feel that Jason Kidd and Chris Webber could get into shape pretty quickly. The ex factors would be Nash (his back) and AI (doesn't seem to be in the greatest shape right now - Practice?!?!).

I would pay to watch it

I wouldn’t necessarily say the silence is a good thing...

Pushing down to the last 24 hours, this one is going to be a nail bitter fella’s...

Has the staff learned their lesson or are we in another dark and vicious recruiting cycle that will leave us all broken, battered, and bruised??

I know one thing, I’m not spillin’ any tea or giving predictions 💯 but I am hopeful that my girlfriend won’t have to play that super annoying Erykah Badu “You better call Tyrone” song any more, after this kid leads us to a final four! 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼 😎

You are 100 percent correct! They would get run out of the gym. They slowed down a longtime time ago. I doubt anyone but Kofi could even dunk with out considerable effort or at all.
Father time wins every time after a certain age and wins quickly.

I'm so impressed how hush hush the family has kept this

Is there any word on how he is going to make his announcement

Generally speaking, I have learned that the times we are successful in a recruiting battle, word tends to leak ahead of time. Things are too quiet this time. That leads me to believe bad news is coming.

As I recall, TyTy discussed 5 schools in that recent sit-down interview. Based primarily on just that discussion, I'll rank the prospective schools like this, with his most likely destination listed at the top:

1. ASU
2. Creighton
3. San Diego State
4. Illinois
5. Auburn

Other than Creighton, I got the sense he likes West Coast and close to home.

Deron, Frankie, Dee all made bad plays. But those guys learned and got better, and turned into superstars. Freshman are always freshman.

It's not hard to see how he'd be utilized. Good handles, and good size that allows him to get some attention near the basket which allows him to dish to an open man. Also, very likable player. Crossing my fingers that we get a commit.
Really thought that link was going to take us to Ty Ty fight video...

The positives our program can offer:

* Elite conference
* Top 10 program
* Big stage
* Superior coaching

I just wish TyTy would have mentioned the strong relationship he has with our coaching staff. (He did not do this in the interview).

If Ty doesn't know where he is going tonight, I would be shocked. The coaches of the schools probably already know.
