Disagree with all of this. The player whose game Larry Legend's game reminds me of most is Shawn Kemp. Then perhaps Vince Carter, David Thompson and Dominique Wilkins. Athleticism compensated for his low BBIQ.
With all that athletic ability, Larry could've been one of the all time greats had he just worked on his game a little more. /s

I think the idea may be that he processed things quickly, and so he saw the game at a different pace. There’s a link somewhere, perhaps, to hand eye coordination, and to BB IQ. Just trying to give the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I liked this at "Everyone loves BBQ" but had to unlike it when requesting to not rehash the Larry Bird debates. I will never let that go as long as people continue to make myriad absurd comparisons between high school seniors (and younger) and NBA All-Stars (and legends).

How is it possible that our program is so clearly on the rise, we’re ranked in the top 10 and getting tons of national attention, we’ve got an exceptional pass first PG to set the table for the future, and we are whiffing whiffing whiffing on 2021 recruits.
I guess it’s to the portal we go. BU and co have earned a lot of trust in assembling a roster. I think I’ll focus on actual basketball for a while and let the professionals work their way out of this cluster.
