That would certainly be our best outcome, but at this point I would bet he announces he is waiting until spring, can't see him announcing he is signing with someone else on this notice, but I don't even pretend to know what is really going on at this point.
Several verbally committed players haven't signed their NLOI. If he comes out and says "I'm committed to Illinois and barring any coaching changes I plan to sign my NLOI with Illlinois in April. I will not entertain any further recruiting efforts or contacts with any universities". I would be more at ease, but why milk this any further.
Possibly faxes today and coaches are silent until he Officially announces tomorrow. I think we are a great fit for him next year with our new and returning players.

If that's the case then I guess he's not signing today.
I expect there is still a very slim chance he signs tonight and makes an announcement tomorrow...but since everything else has been low key announcement wise that doesn't make much sense at this point.
Will it involve hats??
I think the chances are good he'll be apart of Illinois, unfortunately.

People really need to pay better attention to the difference between "apart" and "a part".
Based on information or just drinking orange Kool-aid? To me great shape would have been signing first day, making an announcement day after early signing ends is at least a concern.
Now would be a good time for an insider to come in and tell us what is going on

Look no further than the Goodwin recruitment. He picked SLU with NW being second over us, Ohio State, MSU, and others. Everyone values different things.
My totally pessimistic and completely uniformed (other than the information on this board) view of this information is that Groce was in to see him today and tried to get him to close it out and couldn't get it done. Thus, the announcement of his "intentions" tomorrow are to re-open his recruitment. So no bueno for us.
Would that really help?...I expect we will have several insiders tell us different versions of what is going on before 1:00 tomorrow.
