I apparently was in the minority that wanted BU go all in to get Tillmon to recommit but that being said, he's currently only averaging 5.1 RPG which is less than Kipper, Black and Finke and .9 BPG.

Because going all in and still not getting him would have made us all feel better.

What info do you have that indicates BU did not go all out WRT recruiting Tilmon?

Flo Thamba is a 6'10" 230lb center. He is taking his last official visit. On Thursday. To Champaign. Let's go.

Great news on Thamba (final 4). Really hope staff can close the deal on his OV.

The good news here is that we made his final 4, and he hasn't even visited us yet.

That's a good thing, right?

Coaching makes a difference. You get someone like Tillman’s raw potential and talent.... shame .... he’s going to waste in martins team

Didn't know Tillman had eligibility left. Interesting.

Can confirm Evan Boudreaux will transfer to Xavier. All-Ivy League player has two years for the Musketeers.

First by @GoodmanESPN (I think)

Seems like a Baylor kind of player...that said, I would like more Baylor type of athletes...VT has me worried however, they already got one we were after...

Man, who wants to go through life as a Hokie?

There is chatter that he might be a Nebraska lean

Holy geez. Why!?
I get that Tim Miles is charming and funny. But...other than the fact that Nebraska is in the Big 10 I don't see what it has to offer over other possibilities.

Finke is not even the leading rebounder on the team, Nichols is. Finke is not in the top 25 of the B1G (overall) so far this year.
I believe he is in the top 25. If Kipper is averaging .1 rebound more per game and is 21st, then Finke is tied for 22nd. And, being just .1 behind Kipper, basically means we is tied for team lead. Kipper should be a better rebounder because he is more athletic and can jump better, as well as quicker, but give me 6 rpg every day from Finke and he has more than done his job.

I don't know where you got your bright orange Kool-Aid, but it must have been spiked with something. Eboigbodin and Thamba (if we even get him) might turn out to be great players, but they are both project bigs compared to Tilmon, and those are never a sure bet.

Frankly sir, you have a sensibly objective point-of-view that's killing the vibe around here.

I agree with the general concept that four-year players often offer more total value than 1 or 2 year players even if they are a bit better, but I nonetheless very much agree with this post (especially given that Tilmon is no surefire lottery pick and may himself be a 4-year beast).

Still, you gotta get what you can get. Thamba has a nice offer list and would fill a water-in-the-desert need.
