Going to be hard to get him out of CA imho. Would love to have him.

He is an AZ kid (He must have transferred for his Sr season). I saw him play for Chandler, AZ HS a few years ago. His brother is former Missouri Tiger Torren Jones. The family has Chicago ties so there’s a chance if there are no commitabke offers from the big name West Coast schools.

From McColley:

EJ Liddell sat behind the Mizzou bench. So did his parents. They all wore neutral colors. On the court, Black — the player EJ is most often compared to — dominated the game.

Liddell seems like a great kid in addition to being a Top 50 player. Really hope we can snag him and Okoro for 19.

I felt we led for Liddel prior to this game. With our much superior guards who should all be here when he arrives should give us a big nod. Also I predict Martin will go very heavy in the transfer market following the departure
Of Porters, seniors, Tillmon. The player relationships likely will not be strong to pull in EJ. But who knows a trip to his hs might change that, but he seems like somebody who will follow a process.

Merry Christmas! Tevian Jones would be a great player for us. On par with Nolley IMHO and much more upside than THT. Very good size, smooth shot, A++ athleticism.
Looks to be a very good rebounder as well.

We don't have a player on the roster with his speed and size who can finish at the rim. Best comparison from Illinois hoops would be Cory Magette during Fenwick years. Ability to coast down the court and dunk or use a jumper is Pippin-esque. Kid is aggressive.

I don't know if it's too early to start talking about the class of 2034, but this point guard prospect out of Chicago is starting to generate some buzz. Word has it he has a 1" vertical and already hates Missouri.

Boxing out and wants the rock. I like his potential.

He's got the steely-eyed determination we need in a point guard!

He's already mastered the Box-n-1 defense
