That's like walking into Papa Dels and saying "man, I really want to go to a restaurant that has more than just pizza. This is too much like Little Caesars".

Sure, both of them dealt with roster imbalances, but something tells me that what Underwood is going to achieve with a guard-heavy roster is quite different than what Groce achieved with his group.

Just my hunch.

Agreed. Also, now salivating for some deep dish. So... Thanks for that.

My little birdie sent me a picture of an orange SHARPIE! Book it folks! Tomorrow is going to be glourious! 50/50 with THT is also what he is saying.

Woah, I wouldn't have guessed it was this close at all! If this is accurate, this could be a huge week for us! YUUUUUUGE!:illinois:

Nice, took me a bit of reading to catch up on the daily retorts, did notice quite few made from our neighborhood Deacon demon. Many seemed friendly, but after a while seemed somewhat defensive. Hopefully he/she gains whatever is compelling enough to make continuous post, and brightens thier day.

One thing I keep going back to from Ayo's visit, HIS comment, in his words. Mark Smith said if you come here we would have the best backcourt in the nation. Again I asked, what do you think Ayo thought and said about that? ;):chief::clappy:

When Illinois gets Ayo, I'm gonna call WF. I think they need a 54 year old 240lb 5' 10" point guard who last played basketball in the 6th grade. There was a reason I wrestled whilst in High School.

Last fall, I was at U of I with my family (first time for my newborn). We saw Groce and Ayo in a golf cart on Green Street and he (Groce) stopped to chat and take photos with some of my family.

That newborn who met Ayo on her first visit to Illinois is now a toddler and today said "Illini" for the first time.

Hopefully she has weird orange and blue spidey senses for this recruitment.

Meant that I am not going to 'argue' about programs. Just gonna have fun.

It's fine to discuss, but let's discuss something relevant. How many current NBA players each school has is not relevant. What is relevant is how many NBA players each coaching staff has helped develop. Under BU, Jawun Evans was one of the best PG's (maybe THE best) in the country. How many players has Manning sent to the league? That's what is relevant.

Says in that article he'll play PG per his coach. His big weakness is inability to shoot. He's not duplicative to Valtonen from the sounds of it

I am still trying to find one good argument point from you. So I guess that is a good idea. Time to move on.

For the WF forum board fans who seem to think its mature to bad mouth another team's player they have no clue about, do some research first, then decide.

This is Mark Smith, we believe he has alot of potential.
