The thing with that is, good boards attract good people who can use literacy and form more complex thoughts and all that stuff. If all you want is mouthbreathers, you run it hands-off and let the mouthbreathers take over, which they always do. Turns out least-common-denominator takes less work. See every newspaper and TV station comment section in the country that's unmoderated, or only moderated for death threats or something.

I enjoy you guys' work on this forum, it's helping me stay connected to the Illini even though I haven't lived in Champaign for quite a while now. Keep fighting the good fight. Though I think a little less worry about an 18 year old's social media feed would be useful sometimes...
