That's excellent news. This is why getting the OV was huge. And the timing of Ayo's announcement is great to complement the great fan engagement.

Glad to hear that the fans turned out in big numbers.
That is all part of becoming great again.
Way to want it, Illini

Help me out here. Tweet has been deleted. Care to summarize?

Something like 'really loud in here. Illini nation showing out at Ubben' or something. Also had a pic of THT shooting which I think is not allowed which is why he probably deleted it.

I am not trying to be condescending here, but players get five years to play four. The only $ schools can offer is scholarship money. Both Finke and Black would get their fifth year paid for assuming of course they want to stay.

Players leave schools for more exposure. MOST of the grad transfers you see are from smaller schools to bigger schools where they have a better chance to be seen by NBA scouts. Those who transfer from big to smaller programs usually do so for playing time, such as Mike LaTulip. I am sure you can find a few examples to,offset these, but I think this sums it up well.

No offense taken:), I've never looked much into this, but will now; appreciate your insight!

Can't wait to see if experts start giving Ill some love with THT.

Am I the only one who thinks Jordan Goodwin isn't that good.

I'll own it if wrong.

Yet to be determined how his game translates to college but was an absolute baller in high school. Saw him play plenty in high school and Althoff couldn't have come close to winning a state title without him.

Cutters who post and go back door are big part of offense. Need to have big guards for that as well.

Most of this talk is silly. THT has an elite understanding of the game with an extremely high basketball iq. You want as many of those guys on your team as you can get.

He also has a smooth stroke out to 3 and is a bull in the lane. Why would it even be a question whether we need him?

Also let's not forget the THT led Simeon team beat the Ayo led Morgan Park team 2 out of 3 times last year, if I remember correctly. Kid is good, real good.

Where's "most of this talk" at? I see about 95% pro THT stuff?

Only negative tht talk I’ve seen here is based on his willingness to play with Ayo. The only other negative I can think of is the true statement that he’s not super athletic but that is always countered by being very versatile and skilled.
