for the second week in a row i am very impressed by the graphic artists/photographers on our side. i thought the conductor picture with Ayo was great, I think the high quality picture THT just posted is great.

Been long and extremely strong on THT for a long time. Really want to buy into this CB nonsense. lol

Mom's going to be able to see a lot more games in CU. He fits the scheme like a glove. C'mon, THT!!!

Actually think Deon, Nick and THT would be the most impactful picture......the "Elite" Simeon connection.

Liked that short video too, with THT introducing his Mac Irvin teammates. I got the sense his relationship with Ayo perfectly fine.

Same guy had cb of Pearson to Illinois so he's got that going for him.

Kevin Turner was a good Illini as well from Simeon, and that Video was before all the bad blood started , but still do not think it was between AYO and THT

That feeling you get when, as an Illinois kid, you proudly proclaim "I was part of the group that put that program on the map"... but then having to admit that you're talking about Iowa State.

Yeah, I really hope people here aren't devastated when THT likely commits to Iowa State. We can tell ourselves that the Ayo thing is all made up and whatnot, and while I think it was probably overblown, there's almost certainly some residual hesitation involved.

The Irvins went after THT in a pretty juvenile way, and with Chin Coleman and Ayo being so close to the Irvins, it's impossible to ignore that element of the story.

Whatever the case, it has been stated multiple times for months that Illinois was on the outside looking in. Maybe his visit to Illinois changed all that, but that's a lot to hope for. More than likely, it boosted our chances, but not to the point where we're the leader.

His statement about how the visit was what he was expecting doesn't tell us a whole lot either way, but it's not exactly a "wow, I loved it!" endorsement.

I haven't seen him in person - so big grain of salt - but his play looks more to me like 'kid strong for his age that works well in high school'. The wide one handed reverse layups and such will not work at the next level. So far I am not seeing the huge get here if we did. But of course that just the few highlight videos I've seen.

I feel confident that we do get THT. Underwood and staff sold him on the state school and the offense. I have no inside info but I also believe a convo was had between Ayo during weekend via phone or FaceTime. Just speculation. So I think we made up significant ground

43% of his crystal ball projections are to teams he has already eliminated including one team that didn’t make his top 7.
