Sounds like Landers Nolley will be visiting Georgia on Friday... and then announcing on Friday? Not sure how that'll work

Think he's actually supposed to announce Saturday although with LN it's always fluid-ville, man.

I'm sure everyone we are recruiting against will try to use it to their advantage too. But this whole thing is just getting started and while BU name is being mentioned just because he hired Evans, he has not been implicated in anything and neither has UI. If i was a coach right now, I would be very careful about casting stones, you know, with the whole glass house thing. I'm sure BU will use that counter to try and offset any negative recruiting that may happen

I wouldn't read into it. If anything, the fact that he moved his date up to October 7th shortly after visiting Illinois means that we should feel pretty good.

Georgia isn't the one I'm worried about. It's VA Tech.

Who knows, though. We'll find out in 6 short days.

That may be, but if you don't think these kids are hearing the name Lamont Evans over and over, you're not living in the real world.

Honestly, none of these recruitments seem particularly high drama. This isn't Brian Bowen or even Elijah Thomas. Hard to criticize any of our priority targets for the way they've handled their recruitments at this point.

These kids get to commit one time in their life, and the decision they make will reverberate across social media for a good day or two. If you're 17 years old, that's pretty darn cool. They deserve to have a little bit of fun with this and create a bit of drama.

I’d be surprised if Georgia remains willing to host him unless he plans to commit to them. It’s clear his mind is made up, why would Georgia waste their time? My guess is the visit is eventually canceled.

No, he is only going to be at Georgia Thursday night and Friday. Going home to announce on Saturday.

Honest question: if the crystal ball was CC to Illinois, would you have implored him to "stop it with the crystal ball updates"?

No offense meant to you. But this is what I mean when I talk about only listening to "insiders" that say the things you want to hear. What is the rational, substantive basis for listening to an anonymous poster on our board over a Michigan State sports writer?

The THT thing is valid, but you're also sorta mixing apples and oranges to an extent. Picking a kid's school choice several months out before he has even taken his official visits is a crap shoot. THT is exhibit A. But crystal balls during the week leading up to a kid's commitment tend to be more accurate as information begins to leak. I doubt this MSU guy is working off of some inside info here, but you will see crystal ball action in the few days leading up to the announcement. And a good deal of those picks will be accurate.

If anything, they've sped up the timetable for their announcements. LN and CC were both originally announcing in late October and decided to move things up until next week.

Oh, I know they are for sure hearing it. Just saying if I was a coach, I would be careful about who I was talking trash on
