:thumb:Now THIS is great intel! If Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy and my take on her post is that Mama is happy with how things went this weekend. Ayo is part of an incredibly close and supportive family and it only makes sense that he would want to play where they could see him play. I keep visualizing Jamarra Dosunmu sitting next to Yvonne Smith at SFC cheering on the best backcourt in college hoops . . . Make it happen BU!!!

This has alot of bearing on the Ayo situation. I believe that his parents have been highly involved in his life. His whole recruitment has not been too high , not too low. Refreshing to see a young man in this situation, with parents , not making fools of themselves, letting the young man experience this for what it is. Like the feeling this has, hopefully all have done a great job of making him feel like part of the family. Hope Ayo is hanging a a mailbox in chambana soon.;):illinois:

Regardless of the choice Ayo ultimately makes, I think we all would agree with FC's observations in this post. It seems like another instance of a "sound and thorough decision-making process".

The academic rankings aren't even close. According to the World University Rankings, the UI is 36th, Wake Forest is 294th. The UI ranks 16th in the world in engineering, 18th in computer science, 21st in physical sciences, 24th in the world in Nobel Prize winners and is #1 in the BIG in all 4 areas. I have been to Wake's campus many times. I like ours better.

If he has someone like that around, I'm sure someone would have mentioned it somewhere by now. Ayo, seems to have a focus, fortunately for him, that is not a distraction. Let's hope, past experience says , he is better to play ball, let the other things come later.;):illinois:

Doesn’t matter. None of these things being discussed matter. He’s not going to Wake. Has never been going to Wake. It’s been done for a while. Danny Manning would probably be upset if he knew he’s been wasting his time. ✌��

Very VERYfew on here I pay attention to but you are one that I believe knows what is happening. I am ready to get some good news and so ready for the Illini to start playing so Illini Nation can see things are different. #WeWillWin

I don't believe anything until I hear it from the recruit himself, and even then I'm nervous until signing day, and even then somewhat until I see they are enrolled and have actually set foot on campus.

Ayo's mom said, rather emphatically, that any news or updates are BS if it didn't come from one of the three of them.
