Wake Forest lost to Kansas State (coached by an ex Illinois coach) in the NCAA tournament in the #11 seed vs #11 seed. They can't really say they are that much better than us. With Underwood we should hopefully be a much better team.

All of this Wake Forest talk got me to look up their NCAA tournament history. For all of the talent they have had there, their tournament history is VERY unimpressive. One Final Four in 1962 and only one other Elite 8.
Aside from the one Final Four over 50 years ago, that is worse than Missouri.

All of this Wake Forest talk got me to look up their NCAA tournament history. For all of the talent they have had there, their tournament history is VERY unimpressive. One Final Four in 1962 and only one other Elite 8.
Aside from the one Final Four over 50 years ago, that is worse than Missouri.
Tourney history for Wake since 1987. The yellow squares are large gaps. 1996 they made it to the Elite 8 (Tim Duncan). Nothing too special.
